||Farmborough Heights||250mm f5.6 Dobsonian||30mmUWA||The field of view is 1.8 degrees using this eyepiece. Collinder 316 is 1.75
degrees and within it is Trumpler 24, at 1 degree. Stretching from the very bright and much smaler NGC6231 is a line of stars leading to an apparant Y-junction each branch
leading to separate concentrations of stars; one elongated and one more compressed. NGC6231 is to the west, the elongated group south and and the compressed group north.
The region is quite rich and stunning.
