Total Solar Eclipse Oregon USA 21 August 2017
I realised an ambition in August 2017 to witness a Total Solar Eclipse. Joining a tour at Seattle, Washington, on August 16, we travelled to some great places en route
to and after the eclipse, including Mt Rainier and Mt Saint Helens. Eclipse day dawned sunny and we were able to witness the spectacular phenomenom in a cloudless sky.
I made a record of the event using a DSLR camera fitted with a solar filter, which was removed at totality. Clicking on the photos at totality will display a larger image.
