Lake Wollumboola

A designated Key Biodiverity Area, the lake is a permanent habitat for local shorebirds and also a major site for summer migratory species. It spans more than 600 hectares in area and is located on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia, within the township of Culburra Beach and just north of Jervis Bay. The lake is also adjacent to extensive forest so visiting the area results in a great variety of bird species of the bush as well as aquatic birds.
